Good for short stay, despite dated and basic facilities

Had 2 rooms for 2 nights during a family holiday trip. Rooms are spacious and clean with room heaters provided. Amenities were basic, however - limited towels and bathroom accessories. Wifi only at the reception. And couldn't pay by card - was only cash. Room service food was fine, and buffet breakfast at the restaurant was tasty. Hotel is in town, so don't expect any views. Also, getting to the hotel can be a real drag during peak traffic hours (beware the jams in Shillong, in general).

We stayed here last year.. while traveling north east states. It's a clean and we'll furnished hotel. It has good breakfast and dinner options with many choices. Room service is good too. Market area is few kms away drive but can't be reached on foot.

We landed up in this Hotel on a cold December night, after driving all the way from Guwahati. The Hotel gave us a room on the third floor, which was quite spacious and clean. There was a small room heater and since it was a cold night, we asked for extra blankets which were promptly provided. There was no WiFi in the rooms, which was a drawback. Fortunately I had my own portable wifi. The facilities are somewhat rudimentary by modern standards. Hot water is available from a geyser in the Bathroom which you have to switch on. The beds were fine and we appreciated the faux wood flooring, I wish though that there were a few more electricity plugs near the work desk. There wasn't much of a view from our room but that wasn't a hindrance as we were out most of the time. The single lift looked very rickety, but worked. Breakfast was simple but ample. Dinner was on a fixed menu on most days and while there was a lack of variety, the quality of the food was excellent. Much better than what we have had at much fancier hotels. We did try the a-la-carte menu one night, and again the variety may be limited, but the food they served up was excellent. The best part of the Hotel is its staff. Very friendly and genuinely eager to make your stay as comfortable as possible. And this isn't just the front desk. The courtesy was evident across all staff. If there are any shortcomings of the hotel it is made up by the very helpful staff. Overall a very comfortable stay.

We are visited this Landmark hotel of Shillong. The hotel is good but no three beds or four beds room. They are not having any direct or proper relationship with Thomas Cook but they taking booking for Thomas Cook sub sub. The hotel staff having good behaviour. Hotel is clean and located in near by of shillong.

Situated in a place which is well connected and a good hotel to stay . It has all required facilities according to the prices and rent . I was in a business trip with colleagues for a conference programme . They have place to host meetings too and good parking space.
